Yanis - 31-Days of Awareness and Giving

Yanis est né en avril 2019. Au début, j'ai remarqué que sa tête était grosse, mais les médecins que j'ai consultés m'ont dit que ce n'était rien. Au bout de deux ans, j'ai constaté un retard de langage. À trois ans, il ne parlait toujours pas. J'ai consulté un pédopsychiatre, car on m'a dit qu'il était autiste. Le pédopsychiatre m'a dit qu'il n'était pas autiste, mais qu'il y avait bel et bien un problème chez mon fils. Il m'a orienté vers un neurologue avec qui nous avons commencé des examens approfondis. Nous avons découvert qu'il était atteint du syndrome de Dandy-Walker. Yanis n'a pas six ans. Il a fait beaucoup de progrès, mais le combat continue.

Yanis was borh in April 2019. At first, I noticed that his head was big, but the doctors I saw told me that it was nothing. After 2 years, I noticed a language delay. At 3 years old, he still did not speak. I went to see a child psychiatrist, because they told me that he was autistic. The child psychiatrist told me that he is not autistic, but that indeed there was a problem with my son. He referred me to a neurologist with whom we started to do in-depth examinations. We discovered that he has Dandy-Walker. Yanis is not 6 years old. He has made a lot of progress, but the fight continues.
